Netania located on the Mediterranean shore line, between Tel Aviv and Haifa. It is considered as major city in the Sharon district. The shore line road crosses the city and connects it to Israel center.
Parking
Parking in Blue and white curbstones which can be seen in the main roads, is being
done by pay-and-display vouchers (can be acquire on street machines), Red and White
curbstones means that no parking allowed.

The main road that leads to Netania is often jammed especially at rush hours.

Seatbelts are compulsory front and rear. Children under 14 years old are not allowed to sit in the front.
It is illegal to speak with a mobile phone without a "hands free" device.
For any car rental in Netanya, you must carry your driving license at all times, as well as your Avis insurance and rental details. Check with your agent about the need of an international driving license.
When picking up/returning a car from/to Ben-Gurion airport, there is a handling fee of $27. Tourists and non-Israeli citizens don’t pay VAT which is 17%.
There is a toll road named "highway 6" that stretches out from the north (Ein-Tut junction between Zichron-Yaakov and Yokneam) to the south (Maachaz junction near Beer-Sheva). Payment is made automatically via a car license scanner and the bill is sent to the driver by mail or car rental company.
